Wale’s ‘The Album About Nothing’ Projected To Debut Number 1

Wale’s The Album About Nothing won’t sell nearly as many first week copies as his last album. But like its predecessor — 2013’s The Gifted —  TAAN should open number 1.
Hits Daily Double is projecting the Seinfeld-themed project move between 90 and 95K sales plus streaming in its opening week. (The Gifted did 152,000.) That should top Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly (70-75K) for first place on the album charts.
Coming third will be Ludacris’s ninth album Ludaversal, which is projected to debut with 60-65K is sales.
Also debuting this week is Jodeci’s return album The Past, the Present, the Future. The R&B bad boys should move between 21 -23K, which should be good for 15th on the album chart.
Have you heard any good new albums this week?
