Former Jay Z Associated Rapper Wais P The Pimp Arrested For Just That

Former Roc-A-Fella associated emcee Malcolm “Wais P” Byer likes to rap about the pimp lifestyle.

“I’ll have you turning more tricks, than Cirque du Soleil is, or Blue Man group, only difference is, you gotta bring me back that loot,” Wais P rapped on his 2010 track ‘You See It.’

Now the 41-year old, who also goes by Wais P The Pimp, is in hot water for doing what he raps about.

The New York Daily News reports Wais P was one of three men indicted in December on charges ranging from sex trafficking to promoting prostitution.

P was was arrested on Wednesday and formally charged yesterday. Police had collected evidence against the rapper and his co-defendants using wiretaps and financial records.

According to court papers, Wais “advanced and profited from prostitution by managing, supervising, controlling, and owning a prostitution enterprise with two or more prostitutes.”

Back in the 90s, Wais P was in the group Da Ranjah, who were under the Roc-A-Fella umbrella.

Wais P is being held without bail. Now he better hope prosecutors won’t be able to use his own lyrics against him in court.
