50 Cent Discusses His New Eminem-Featured Track ‘Champions’

We heard earlier this year that Eminem would be a feature on 50 Cent’s much delayed Street King Immortal.

Fif’s seventh album still doesn’t have a release date, but the track he did with Eminem, titled ‘Champions,’ is already in the can.

He discussed going to Detroit and recording with Shady during a MTV interview.

“We wrote the song in Detroit,” Fif explained. “I did go out there, and we recorded in his studios, his comfort zone. Em is a lab rat, I don’t know if you know this. But you don’t see him unless he’s scheduled to be somewhere. Other than that, he’s probably writing something new now. It’s a really cool process. It’s usually more fun than it feels like work. It sounds like one of those hit records that you’ve heard from Eminem in the past, with an R&B singer in the chorus.

“He wrote his portion of the song before I got there … I was like, ‘I know what you’re doing, but I got to just write my perspective on that.'”

Fif also detailed his relationship with Em, telling the music network “I’ve never had anyone in my life do for me so much in one shot,” before getting into his mindset before he signed with Shady Records.

A Woman Testifies She Gave Amber Rose Booty Shots

A Philadelphia madam claims she gave Amber Rose butt-shots to enhance her posterior and Kanye West dropped her off. She also claims she was to perform “a correction” on Nicki Minaj, but it never happened.

Padge-Victoria Windslowe stands accused of killing a London break dancer with illegal butt injections and took the stand where she made multiple name drops, according to the Associated Press.

“Amber was like a walking billboard. She brought a lot of girls from VH1,” Windslowe testified.
Windslowe, a transgender, once worked as a madame that employed men, women and other transgendered sex workers.

Windslowe stands accused of third-degree murder after she allegedly who injected 20-year-old Aderotimi with silicone at a Philadelphia hotel.

According to a report, Windslowe was known as “the Michelangelo of buttocks injections” for her illegal, but supposed quality work in getting backsides bigger.

‘Pimp My Ride’ Was Even More Fake Than You May Have Imagined

 In 2015, we are pretty cynical about any type of television that would fit in the broad spectrum of “reality.”

But Pimp My Ride aired between 2004 and 2007, before we got so hardened. Andhappy-go-lucky host Xzibit seemed like such a genuine fellow.

However, a report by the Huffington Post, based on a Reddit AMA, has revealed that the MTV show was anything but genuine. The website spoke to three kids who had had their ride pimped on the show. This is what they learned:

- Some of the additions to the cars were just for the show and were removed right after the taping was done.

– The additions that were left in tended not to work. This was especially true of the television screens and gull-wing doors.

– Some of the additions adversely affected the cars ability to drive, and there was a tow truck driver on hand. (MTV responded to this by saying most of the cars were old and would have had trouble no matter what.)

– The inside of the cars tended to get a lot less attention than the outside.

– Although the show made it seem like the cars were pimped in a few days, they were actually in the garage for up to seven months. Which could be a problem if you needed your car.

– Most of the show’s famous reaction shots were staged.

– At least in these three instances, the back-stories and interests of the contestants were made up.

One of the contestants HuffPost spoke to said MTV producers dumped bags of M&M’s in his pre-pimped car, which he believed was a dig at his weight. Another said producers advised him to dump his girlfriend on the show so it could seem like his newly pimped ride made him a player.

Despite all this, the three Pimp My Ride alums said they enjoyed the experience. They also had good things to say about Xzibit, whom they not surprisingly suspected of being high the whole time.

Kanye West Says Sorry To Beck And Bruno Mars

After his emotional interview yesterday with Zane Lowe, Kanye West was feeling contrite.

So he got on Twitter and offered an official public apology to Beck, whose “artistry” he slandered after the 2015 Grammy Awards.

This was an apology we all saw coming. ‘Ye had already conceded that he hadn’t listened to any of Beck’s Grammy winning album ‘Morning Phase’ when he went on his now-notorious pro-Beyonce rant. And West had also admitted that he had heard some the LP since the Grammy debacle, and thought it was quite good.

He also issued an apology to Bruno Mars that may have seemed a bit more from left field. But the backstory is that in 2013 Kanye went off on Mars during a stop in Brooklyn for the Yeezus tour. He was angry that Mars had done so well at the 2013 MTV Music Awards.

“Bruno Mars won all the motherfucking awards,” ‘Ye ranted.  “And I was thinking about what Rick Rubin told me, because I don’t give a fuck about no TV show. But what I care about is if you’re an artist and you work hard as fuck and the streets say that you deserve that shit. Then can’t no motherfucking networks try to gas everybody up so they can sell some product with the prettiest motherfucker out.”

Wiz Khalifa Enjoys A Late Birthday Party With Son Sebastian

Last weekend, Wiz Khalifa was pretty down about not being able to spend time with his son Sebastian on his second birthday.

Wiz had prepared a pirate-themed party for the little guy, but his custody battle with ex Amber Rose got in the way and it didn’t happen.

Yesterday, father and son were reunited in what became a make-up birthday party.

Wiz posted a bunch of photos of the event on his Instagram account, and you can see he was thrilled to be with his son.

His custody fight with Rose is getting pretty ugly, with actual poop involved. So it’s nice to see Wiz is still able to enjoy some genuine moments with his boy.

Missy Elliott & Pharrell Are In The Studio Together

The Super Bowl reminded us all what a powerhouse Missy Elliott is.

Now the 43 year old, who hasn’t had an album out since 2005’s The Cookbook,looks like she is trying to capitalize on all the new interest by giving us some new music.

‘Empire’ Co-Creator Reveals Jay Z As The Inspiration For Lucious Lyon

It may not be 50 Cent’s cup of tea, but Empire has been the hottest new TV show of 2015.

There’s clearly a “ripped from the headlines” element to it, so it’s fun to speculatewhich real life figures the drama’s oft-ridiculous characters are based on.

Danny Strong should have some good insight into this, since he c0-created the show with Lee Daniels.

The actor/writer/producer was asked by Sway in the Morning if Jay Z was the influence for family patriarch Lucious Lyon, and this is what he said:

“I’ve heard that, but there’s certainly some truth in that,” Strong agreed. “The Jay Z story, which very much inspired Lucious Lyon, certain elements of Lucious Lyon, was that story.”

Strong, who’s white, was also asked how he approaches writing black characters.

“So for me, I don’t think in terms of, ‘Okay we have to be careful of certain things because of certain negative stereotypes.’ I view it as, The entire cast is African-American, we’re gonna have all different types of characters, and we’re gonna tell good stories. We’re not gonna sit here and play defense or think that our show is a representation as black culture in its entirety. It’s not. It’s just this story.”

G-Unit Promises They Are Back Together For Good

After spending years squabbling with each other, G-Unit suddenly got it together last summer and dropped the EP The Beauty of Independence. On March 3, follow up EP The Beast Is G-Unit hits.

Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and the newest member of the crew Kidd Kidd sat down with XXL to discuss the status of the group. Conspicuously missing was notoriously prickly group leader 50 Cent.

Perhaps that’s why the interview was such a love fest, with the four heaping praise on each other. Buck closed things out by promising G-Unit was back together for good, while acknowledging their past problems.

It never was a beef. It was just a big misunderstanding. You can’t expect a crew of man to be amongst each other without some type of moments when everybody’s not on the same page. How you handle it determines everything. We learned a lot from what we did do, and how it was done, to the point where .. you will never see it played it played how it got played out. It will never happen again.

Ice Prince, Olamide & Phyno To Collaborate On New Single “Get Some Money”

Hip-hop superstars Ice Prince, Phyno and Olamide have come together for a social awareness cause as they collaborate on a yet-to-be-released song called “Get Some Money“.

The song is an initiative of Paradigm Initiative Nigeria – a social enterprise that connects Nigerian youth with ICT-enabled opportunities. This organization is currently working on a project called #DigitalJobs which aims to provide tens of thousands of Nigerian youths with legitimate jobs on the internet. In order to make this objective a reality they have gotten some of the biggest stars in Nigerian music to encourage Nigerian youths to embrace the #DigitalJobs project and desist from internet fraud.

“Get Some Money” will be officially released on Friday the 27th of February 2015 by 12pm.
